WHO WE ARE

Southern, dignified, and sanctified, the Cane Creek Tragic is an American, southern-rock, and self-identified "scrap" metal band from Middle Tennessee, located within the Scenic Sequatchie Valley. 

Formed in 2014 in Pikeville, TN, the band features founders Caleb Scarborough (lead vocals, hollers), Brandon Blaylock (vocals, rhythm guitars), Logan Walling (drums, percussion) and newcomers Steven Standefer (lead guitars), & Matt Colvard (bass guitars). 

Stylistically, TCCT features twangy guitars, southern influenced rhythms, and faith inspired lyrics dealing with the everyday struggles of life as well as Southern culture and the wonderings and dealings of the human condition. TCCT fits in like kin with bands ranging from the modern Christian outfits Disciple, Skillet, Decyfer Down, and the Protest, as well as the groove-metal sounds of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and the complexities of Mastodon to the hard rock edge of Alice in Chains, Black Stone Cherry, Stone Temple Pilots, all the way to timeless Southern classics of the Charlie Daniels and Lynyrd Skynyrd, in addition to the "classic" thrash of metal pioneers Pantera and Metallica. TCCT also believes in the reigning blood of the Red Back Hymnal.
